Eastern Bluebird Art Print

from $24.00

The Eastern Bluebird (Sialia sialis) is a small songbird with vivid blue wings, back, and head, along with a warm reddish-orange breast. Females have softer blue-gray coloring and a more muted orange breast.

Diet: Eastern Bluebirds eat insects, including beetles, grasshoppers, and caterpillars. During fall and winter, they rely more heavily on wild fruits and berries.

Range & Habitat: Native to eastern North America, Eastern Bluebirds inhabit open fields, meadows, orchards, and woodland edges. They prefer open spaces with scattered trees, fence posts, or nest boxes for perching and nesting.

Interesting Fact: Eastern Bluebirds nest in cavities, including old woodpecker holes. They readily use nest boxes, and community efforts to install and maintain bluebird trails helped populations recover after competition for nesting sites contributed to their earlier decline.

Product Details: This listing is for a print of my original work. Printed on high quality watercolor paper with archival ink. Watermark will not appear on your print. Each print is hand signed, giving it a unique touch.
