The Southern Dogface (Zerene cesonia) is a bright yellow butterfly with black wing borders and a distinctive dog’s head pattern on each forewing.
Habitat: Found in open, sunny areas such as prairies, fields, roadsides, and open woodlands.
Range: Native to the Americas, it ranges from South America through Central America and Mexico into the southern United States, occasionally wandering much farther north. I’ve even seen them here in Ohio!
Interesting Fact: The dog’s face pattern even includes a dark spot for an eye, making it recognizable while the butterfly is flying with its wings open. Can you see it?
Add a touch of natural beauty to your laptop, water bottle, phone case, car, or any other surface with this waterproof sticker. Featuring a life-sized Southern Dogface Butterfly on a white background, this irregularly-shaped, matte laminated sticker is suited for both indoor and outdoor use.
Shipping Details: Your sticker will be carefully packaged and shipped to you in an envelope via First Class USPS mail.
Note: This listing is for one waterproof sticker.
